About Us
Gallery Reimagined is a non-profit 501c(3) organization that supports Baltimore’s emerging artists and builds community through art engagement.
We are passionately dedicated to elevating emerging artists by showcasing their work alongside established artists in an environment that fosters mentorship, professional growth, and community engagement.
Connect to our “Why”
Our organization serves as a crucial catalyst for artists who are at the beginning of their careers, offering them a space to showcase their talents and connect with art enthusiasts.
By engaging with Gallery Re-imagined, you contribute not only to the individual growth of these artists but also to the enrichment of our community’s cultural tapestry.
Why start a non-profit art gallery? I have always been creative and innovative as a scientist and have a genuine love for the arts. Cultural engagement is very important to me and being part of the art community offers that outlet. Bringing together art and science can lead to unique and innovative projects. I have a deep passion for increasing career development opportunities for underrepresented groups in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and the Arts).
Our Core Values
Self-care: Balancing the hard work and dedication required to pursue an art career with the need for rest, self-care, and enjoyment.
Empowerment: Artists are given the freedom and support to express themselves creatively and authentically. We help develop the skills and knowledge to pursue their artistic goals and vision. By challenging the stereotypes and barriers that limit artistic potential and recognition, they contribute to social and cultural change throughout their artistic practice.
Equity and justice: Ensuring and equal access, representation, and participation in our gallery.
Building self-worth and self-efficacy: Providing professional development, mentoring and guidance, exposure, and recognition opportunities to enable emerging artists to achieve their goals.
Creativity and Innovation: Encouraging artists to think outside the box by pushing boundaries.
Community Engagement: Serving as a community space that promotes cultural expression.
